Solar Wind Corp is one of the longest running corps in EVE. It was formed straight from beta (29/05/03) with most of the members forming the corp being beta players. We are members of Elite Space Guild, and our opportunities for expansion are vast. Joining us now is a better chance to gain advantage.
We have recently begun recruitment of PVP minded players, if the idea of having all areas of carebearism open to you, and plenty of alliance fleet operations, we might just be for you.
Here are a few facts about out Corporation;
* We are based out of Fountain.
* We have sovereignty and desperately need PI buffs.
* We are members of the CFC and more importantly Elite Space Guild.
* We have access to Null and low sec Incursions.
* We have access to a number of factory and refinery facilities, no refine tax, no mess.
* We are active in US and EU time zones.
* We have no required Ops, be they pvp or mining. We will never have CTA's, but it is highly recommended you take part.
* We will support our accepted PVPers in their participation of fleet operations with the alliance, and eventually corporation ops.
What we offer to our members:
* Upgraded Industry systems with refinery outposts.
* Upgraded Military systems for ratting
* Excellent JB network connecting our safe constellation to Low Sec, connecting you to a very large range of constellations.
* Ice belts available for all.
* Logistics services to and from Empire.
* Opportunities to be involved on alliance level PVP operations, but not a requirement.
* Progression and passing on information.
* Ore and Ice buyback facility with good rates.
* Plenty of PVP with small roams, and large fleet battles in Vale of the Silent.
What we ask of our members:
* Ability to speak and understand English is a MUST.
* Microphone and Headset capability.
* TS3 and Jabber attendance is a big must to us, and you must be online.
* Self sustainability and experience in 0.0 space.
* Capability to handle yourself in Null and ideally capability of flying a T3 or T2 fitted BS.
* PVP applicants will be vetted against our requirements for competence and experience.
